At Passport Diaries, we aim to provide smooth and transparent travel experiences. Please review our refund policy carefully before making a booking.
1. General Policy
All bookings made through Passport Diaries are subject to the refund and cancellation policies of the respective airlines, hotels, transporters, tour operators, and other service providers. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
2. Cancellation Request by the Customer
- Passport Diaries will process refunds only after receiving a cancellation request or claim from the customer via email, phone, or online channels.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible to minimize charges.
- Refund eligibility depends on the policies of the respective service provider and the time of cancellation.
3. Refund Processing
- Refunds against the cancellation of any transaction will be credited directly to the original mode of payment.
- Passport Diaries will process the refund within 72 hours after receiving the refund from the respective Airline/Hotel/Transporter/Supplier.
- As per standard banking procedures, it may take 3–7 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in the customer’s account.
- Any service charges, supplier penalties, or non-refundable components will be deducted before processing the refund.
4. Non-Refundable Bookings
Certain services may be non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- Promotional or discounted airfares
- Special hotel deals
- Visa processing fees
- Travel insurance
- Last-minute or flash-sale packages
These conditions will be communicated at the time of booking.
5. Changes and Amendments
- Changes to confirmed bookings may incur additional charges.
- Fare differences, penalties, and service fees may apply as per supplier rules.
6. Cancellation by Supplier or Agency
If a trip or service is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control (such as airline cancellations, natural disasters, or government restrictions), Passport Diaries will assist in processing refunds or alternatives in accordance with supplier policies.
7. No-Show Policy
Failure to report for a scheduled service without prior cancellation will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be applicable.
8. Force Majeure
Passport Diaries shall not be held liable for delays or refunds caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or political situations. Refunds will be handled strictly as per supplier policies.
